I took the idea for this piece from an old advertisement for hair tonic.

Each piece depicts the patterns of baldness and refers to the surgical procedure of actually cutting and "pasting" plugs of hair in areas of baldness.

The inside of the foreheads look like the inside of a dolls head through the clear glass.
