In Before and After II, I have used the analogy of textile and a zipper for this surgery. The before fabric is beautiful and rich with its folds and curves, its gaping mouth of teeth, while the after image is much less compelling zipped up tight.

I enjoy these contrasts and contradictions in this panorama of the human body.

This piece won 2nd place in the Glass Art Society's International Student Exhibition.
