Pondering existence was inspired by the writings of Kant on the concept of time. We can only know and understand the present. Our past memories are fragmentary and the future is unpredictable.
Like masks, the faces are portraits of my son as the future, myself in the middle and my grandmother, Alexandra, representing the past.
